Huge in the calves!

I am a huge fan of cowboy boots and have been on the hunt for the perfect pair. For me, these aren't them. I'll keep looking. These Florence boots from Silver Canyon are handmade in Mexico. The leather seems to be good quality and the embroidery gives these a nice feminine flair. I have the Turq/Brown color and like the coloring - they are true to the description images.I am usually a 7.5 but ordered an 8 in these for fear that they would be too short in the toe. The 8 is about a half size too big, so the 7.5 would have been a better choice. So, I recommend ordering your usual size.My big gripe with these cowboy boots is that the calves are huge. To be fair, I do have quite a slim build - size 0 in jeans for reference. But, these boots don't even come close to touching my legs and look ridiculous on me - see pic. I couldn't find anywhere in the description that lists these as wide-calf so be aware. These are nice quality boots and if you have larger calves these might be great for you. For me, I'll keep looking.

Giddy-up partner, there’s some new cowgirl boots in town.

BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front): Nice cowgirl boot for the urban or rural cowgirl to wear on a night on the town.Material: Leather, Lemonwood, and Goodyear rubberConstruction: Wow, these are constructed like a significantly higher end boot, the stitching reminds me of something from a custom-designed boot.Fit: Unfortunately, the SO selected the wrong size so the only thing she can comment on is that the square toe would be great for workwear or going out on the town.Sizing: Since the SO accidentally selected the wrong size, she cannot comment on the sizing other than she thinks the size 12 would be great for a woman with a larger calf.Comparable to: Ariat, Shyanne, and Justin boots.
